Orange evening at Picton.

Sky Watch Friday.
A beautiful Orange Evening at Picton. This is completely untouched, with its power lines and orange coloured sea and sky..
One of the ferries are in port. This was taken before the harbour renovations started. The long narrow boat in the front is a houseboat that is available to rent out during the summer. Now that would be fun!

I love this picture!!!! The photos on my blog are all in 800 x 600 as I have found a nice program GIMP 2, completely free of charge and easy to use. When I click on your pic it is soooo large. Another way is to send my pics to myself as an email and put them on the blog in this size from there, after having saved them. I am a complicated person, haha! Have a nice Halloween if you celebrate it.

Lovely shadings in the oranges...the power lines add an extra emphasis to the glorious color. Good shot.

That is lovely, and that would be fun to rent that boat. A dream vacation.

I truly believe that we have reached the point where technology has become one with our society, and I can say with 99% certainty that we have passed the point of no return in our relationship with technology.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside... I just hope that as the price of memory decreases, the possibility of downloading our memories onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's a fantasy that I daydream about all the time.
