Steam Train

My World, Thanks to Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy, Louise and Sylvia
A rare steam train came through Blenheim. I was working driving a taxi in Blenheim. On hearing the toot toot of the steam engine i drove to the railway station and took some photos. Because I was in the taxi i was able to drive over to the other side of the train where vehicles are not generally allowed and take these photos.
Crowds of people came to watch it at Blenheim railway station. The six red carriages were full of railway enthusiasts who were traveling the length of the country on holiday.

We have a similar post talking about steam trains but mine is about a miniature model. I think they are so cool. :)

I envy those railway enthusiasts who were traveling by train! These are wonderful photographs of the train. It is wonderful to see something rare and be able to photograph it to help retain the memory.

Not too easy to see the train here in Bangkok, but from my condo, we can hear the whistling regularly every day... Choo Choo!

I've never rode on a train in my life. except for the train at Disneyland. But that's more of a ride. Enjoy your semi-retirement.

Beautiful train of the past. A year I could see a old steam train in the station of the city. It is very interesting and that reminds me a took a steam train to go in Holidays from Paris to the countryside when I was a little child.
