Winter Sunset through the Poplars at Grovetown, taken last year. Sadly these lovely trees have been chopped down in the name of progress, to make building sites. Unfortunately the power wires do detract from the shot.
Hi, Glennis, Thank you for your visit and your nice comment on my benches' blog. I'm happy to discover your blog, too. My oldest son went to New-Zealand 3 years ago, and he told me that it was the most wonderful place he knew. So I'm glad to find a place where I can see why he said that..:-)). I think I'll come back and take time to explore more!
I didn't even notice the wires, because the contrast between the horizontal lines of the sky and the verticals of the trees stand out so well. Thanks for stopping by the Farm, too.

Glennis: What a neat look at a wonderful sky.
I like your music on your player.
Beautiful shot. It is a shame about the trees not being there now though.
Looks like a beautiful Autumn sky. I have a hard time remembering the seasons are opposite ours. Whatever the season, N.Z. is great.
a stunner!
WOW! The colors are amazing! Breathtaking photo.
:)
Lots of things have to suffer for "progress". I'm glad that you at least managed to share these trees with us.
PS Thank you for the kind comment - I try not to make my blog to personal, but sometimes one must.
I forgot to mention that the building you asked about is being restored after a fire.

The colors in the clouds are beautiful and I like the silhouette of the trees against the evening sky. Thank you for visiting, Glennis...
