Waitata Bay

Waitata Bay, this is the lovely view from the balcony of the home we rented.
There are some lovely waterfalls behind the house, just gentle cascades that tinkle attractively in the evening while your enjoying your glass of wine on the balcony.

My World for this week.

Waitata bay Pelorus Sounds
. quite a remote bay, but there is road access though it is a long drive.
However its is a very worth while drive if fishing is what you wish to be doing. We just fish from a small dingy and catch a good feed everytime we go out.
The black dots on the ocean are mussel floats where Green lip Mussels are farmed commercially.
Finally a view from the sea of the part of the small farm, and wharf plus the houses.

This place sounds similar to Keranchut Beach in Penang. We have to trek a long way to reach there.

Shalom Glennis
I love the pictures on your blog. You live in a well-placed house and a lovely country.
Thanks for your visit to Jerusalem Hills. To answer your good question I wrote:
Glennis, Shabbat in Hebrew refers to the Sabbath, i.e. from Friday sundown to Saturday night.

Glennis and Wil, there is more about Shavuot at

and

Hope this helps.

Those black dots, I thought they were oyster catcher birds. I love mussels, I love castching them in the wild in Whakatane.

Do you love mussels too?
