Picton's Marina
My World.
Have a look at all the other My World posts.
Picton's Marina is under going a big change of improvements, all these old wharves and moorings have just been pulled out, with great difficulty as the old folk built things to last, the marina is now all clear of boats and wharves and a new building project has started to build nice new floating jetties for the launches. I am sure it will be lovely when it is finished, but at the moment is causing lots of problems to boat owners who had to move, and lots of mess around the harbour. We will wait for the new structures, which will include a boardwalk around the marina and a viewing platform among other things.
Our house can just be seen in this photo, the pink roof on the hillside to the right, near a blick building, which is an old peoples home, we are able to watch closely as the work progresses.

Oh, I bet that would cause problems! Hopefully it'll be worth the trouble once it's finished! Great shot!
Have a good week!
Sylvia
This is what we called work in progress. Can't help much.
Sounds like it will be terrific when it's finished, but 'getting there' is the problem! Patience.
Unfortunately before construction there is destruction. I expect it will be lovely when it's completed, and you certainly have a front row seat!
Sunny :)
Nice harbor! Great shot.
once its done hope you feel it was worth it!
The marina might be messing while the work is in progress must it will be wonderful when it is all finished. It must be nice to live close to the marina and coast.
It's be great when it's finished!
you always show sooo beautiful nature photos. I´m very pleased to see them.

A good day - Ruth
I know NOTHING about boats, but I think this will be fabulous when it's completed. Thanks for sharing.Rosey
You live in a pretty place, Glennis.
You have a wonderful and enviable view from your house!!
You need only a few patience :)
What a lovely view you must have. Too bad about the construction woes but the planned result sounds worth the trouble.
