Taxi Stand Blenheim.
My World for this week is the taxi stand at Blenheim in Market Square. I seem to have been working all week to assist other drivers that needed time off. Not that I have minded, as I still enjoy the work and the extra money. This is the company I drive for Gateway Taxis. Often there are far more taxis on the stand, both this one and the feeder stand around the corner. I have also been driving a Toyota station wagon and will drive a Camry station wagon tomorrow. The changes make for more interest, as I have to remember to call the right cab number each day.
The small clock tower behind us came from the original old Post Office building that has now been demolished, behind that is the Cleghorn Memorial Band Rotunda where music is often played.

They look like comfy cars.
Blenheim sounds like a German name.
Interesting :)
Too bad they demolished the old post office building.
Looks from the tower like it was maybe a nice old building?
Having different cars is great. Gives the customers more choice and keeps your brain working :P
Interesting job -- you must meet a variety of people. That's a nice clock tower; I'm glad it was saved! The rotunda is also interesting--it looks so close to the road. I hope there's room for an audience on the other side! Thanks for sharing a slice of life!
I like very much the clok tower and the band rotonda. We have one in our city on front of the city hall. Are all taxi white ?
That looks like a nice place to wait.

Driving different cab each day to carry different passengers must be a lot of fun.
You must know you way around really good!
Oh, you drive taxis? My father was once a taxi drive years ago. He always had stories to tell each time he came home.
I think it would be fun to be a taxi driver You meet all sorts of people from all over the place
I can hear laughing voices in your car.
Cool taxis
Sometimes I feel like driving taxi again...
Aloha, Friend!
Comfort Spiral
As you are on th eroad more than me, do you see people suing their cell phones while driving?
I saw two, one almost knocked at me at a very narrow road.
You are right about cow pats used a fertiliser. In Mt Albert volcan, I saw a man collecting the cow pats. It was easier at Mt Mt albert, as there was a flatter plateau.
Driving different cars every day with different numbers would soon confuse me. Good for you for being able to keep it all straight!
Nice phrase
It has no analogues?
