The Needle., Cook Islands





The Needle Rarotongan landmark.
Much bigger than it looks in the photos as it is so far away, inland. There apparently is a track up to The Needle but thats too much like hard work for us to attempt.
Sorry about the phone wires in one photo couldn't avoid them.

That reminds me a day when I worked ( in a factoty which makes fruit calibrating machines - I worked in Exportation department) I ought to call one of our agents in a foreign country). But I made a mistake about the phone number and I woke up a man who lives in Cook Islands.
